Consider the Canon XH-A1- I have it and have no complaints- it also hasnt gotten a single negative review. Best value out there.

Though I've never worked with any of those, I would think it would be a lot quicker and smoother to shoot on tape as opposed to P2 cards. I've heard great things about both the GY-HD series and the XH-A1 – if you're a image quality freak, I'd go with the Canon, and if you're a manual control freak, the lens on the JVC might afford you a little more freedom.
My two cents.

Fellini, if you must choose between those two, the HD200 is basically out of the question. No (good) 35mm adapter attaches straight to the body of the JVC pro line, so if you use one you'll have HD200 --> on-camera lens --> 35mm adapter --> SLR lens which is just one big ugly bulky camera. The HVX produces fantastic images on its own and it's the perfect size. You *can* use one with the HD200 if you must, but generally people just accept it as a no-go.

hi there funkbomb!
Thanks for the tips, man.
the guy who´s gonna rent me the camera said that he has a red rock micro adapter and it works fine on a jvc 200 hd.I saw the rig and youre right - the camera becomes big and ugly.
The camera, in my opinion, is better than any other in the same segment.Just love the fact that u cant use it on your shoulder.
Cheers!

Good?

You can rent a mini35 that attaches directly to the body. Or there's LetusHD100, but the test footage from the H1 looks as though it makes some serious sacrifices in sharpness.

When I said that I was specifically referring to the LetusHD100. It sucks. And I was assuming mini35 was out of the question, but that's probably out of my DIY adapter habit.
