i wanna do a gag where one kid drives a stick, through another kids chest, i was thinking about having a close up of a pillow, with a shirt around it, so close up that the shirt takes up the full screen, then driving the stick through the pillow, with blood spurting, i can't think of a better way to do it, then have the kid on the groud, with the stick protruding from his body, doing this by cutting the stick in half and just having him hold the stick against his chest. will that look retarded?

Often this sort of thing is done with a combination of trick photography (from the side, at a distance, pass the stick behind him), clever angles (over the shoulder of the attacker, reaction on the victim's face), effects (make a protruding stick prop and attach it to him), and clever editing (edit it all together really convincingly)
