mono you said something about rendering a chunk of 40 minute footage into B&W, and wanted to know if it would be quicker on the computer?

I thought you already shot the movie - isn't your only option now to do the B&W in Premier or something?

Hmmmm? It will always take longer to render a chunk into B&W than to shoot it that way. However, if you shoot in color to begin with you have more image control in post, even if the final destination is completely B&W. I only shot B&W to begin with on the mini-series because the producers demanded it.

Here's a rough trailer for a feature I shot in undergrad. I'm rying to convince the directors to send it to studentfilms.
