I am really pissed off right now cause I figured that the girl I like is pretty much a slut and I wanted her to be in one of my films...but I guess not anymore. I'm really mad. But anyway that's not why I'm here. I have a question concerning Windows MovieMaker. I am getting a new computer next week (already bought it) and that computer has moviemaker so I can edit films. Well I've been doing this horror movie titled "Toys of Death" and it's a living hell editing with a tv and a remote through VHS...so I will get the movie onto a dvd...and do u think I can edit my movie on MovieMaker? What about adding titles and credits?

Welcome Conrad Smile

We really don't need to know about your personal life Wink

Anyway... yeah, editing with a VCR sucks!! Windows Movie Maker is a good start (though you'll find it somewhat limiting after a while.)

To get your film into the computer to edit you'll need a FireWire capable camera. You need to hook the camera up to the computer to capture the footage. WMM should be able to handle basic titles and credits.

you can also pick up a video capture card for about 40 dollars on ebay. Osprey makes a decent one that captures video full frame, 30 fps with an mjpeg codec, comparable to DV. I used to use it with movie maker.

sluts. lol.
