I am making a short film, which takes place in London. I am seeking locations that could be mistaken for London (i.e. new york tourism red decker bus). If you have any suggestion of locations in the New York area, please feel free to inform me.

just make it about british people that just moved to new york or something.

Hmmm.... NYC is pretty distinctive. You might want to look for cities closer to New England, possibly old fashioned parts of Rhode Island or Connecticut, especially near the ocean, would have the feeling of London.

There's always a temptation to show a red bus or Big Ben for London, yellow taxis for New York, the Eiffel Tower for Paris etc. Truth is, if you put "London, England" at the bottom of the screen or something and not show anything New York-specific, any city could pass for London. If only you could fake English weather...
