Im currently in a movie called, "Route 532" where my main character really beats the sh*t out of another guy.

So what I need is like fake blood to put around the eyes/nose on the victim and fake blood on my main character hands. What should I use because I never had to use 'blood' before. (it would also be cool if this liquid didnt stain my rug, but not important)

also does anyone know a way to make like fake stab wounds or gun shot wounds?

And lastly (i know, i know) does anyone know a good site to get punching/gun shot sound effects (MP3 or a way to make them by my own).

i made the greatest fake blood for the last little project i was working on, but i cant remember what i put in it. from what i remember it contained a whole bottle of corn syrup, some thick rasberry tea i had, some red kool-aide, red jello, and srangely creamy peanut butter i have found that it helps it thicken. i hope my vauge instructions help

See if you have any costume shops, and grab a couple different brands of blood (as they vary in olor, and consistency) Dark lines (like with an eye linear) are good for cuts, just cover with vlood and go. Corn syrup and food coloring work well too. Alot of red, a little blue and maybe a dash of gree to darken. Be sparing though. Better too little then to much. You can toss a little Hershys chocalate syrup in for darkness as well.

As for Gun shots, hit the search engines if you like. As for myself, I find they are usually cheesy, and do it my self. Halflife Counter Strike has a sound file of Gunshot WAVs. I often lift my gunshots from movies. Run s-video or RCA into you cam, hit play on the shots, import into comp and place only the sounds where you like. Ive heard you can make good ones by recording a slamming door, then speed it up and warp it in a sound program. Good luck.

I find the best ways to make fake stab wounds is too first show the stab or shot, you can do this by getting a close up shot of persons body and have a stab wound there but the trick is that it isnt the persons body instead it can be a fake body with the same shirt on if he is wearing a shirt or just something like foam you can stab into, you can also place blood packets in the foam where apon stabbing would split open and pour out. Then you can try to find blood that is stationary, usually thicker and drys quickier, then if you can try to get a darker blood to put a small ring around the whole and into middle which will give the effect of there being a whole.
A lot of times you can place with it and make it work, or you can use dough to make a ring and press it on the body then pour blood into the middle and over the dough which will give the illusion of a whole.

You can find many recipes online for blood and different kinds, you also can probably purchase them at party stores like party city, and of coarse during halloween they have bloood out in costume stores.

You want to make good guts? I was eating some pizza pockets the other day (Pillsbury brand), and I realized, if you take some big noodles, mixed in with the insides of the pizza pocket, add some fake blood..you'll have some wicked looking guts. Experiment around.. for my zombie flick I am gonna try the pizza pocket idea. It was the Pepperoni and cheese type if anyone needs to know.
