i was watchin the lotr rotk extended edition special features and they were talkin about this cameron guy. anyways peter jackson said that cameron used household chemicals to make explosions. anyone no the formula he was talkin about? I know, i'm too interested in explosions and fire, but hey, can u really blame a guy.

I don't set out to make "art" I just try to make something with a beginning, middle, end, and some characters...the art seems to come during the process.

I don't know about that formula (probably uses some salt)

But a great way is to go to a hobby store and buy some rocket engines. Cut off their surrounding packaging, take out the black explosive and light that. It makes for a fairly large explosion. I haven't tried a D engine yet, I imagine that would be huge!

(I am not responsible if you burn yourself.)

Stay away from the salt peter and sugar mixture.(It's way too volatile) I blew up a picnic table and nearly took of my arm three years ago with this mixture. (I got the recipe in the anarchist cook book)I regret even reading this book.

I reccomnend reading this ENTIRE page before screwing around with explosives and The Anarchists Cookbook.
