What if I just post my credit card number to this forum? ...or I'll just leave the thou in my mail box--here's my address. ...or what if I send it western union out of the country?

How much is shipping and handling? $2000?

Do you have any bridges for sale? I need one of those too.

Hmm. Let's see. They want to sell XL1s dirt cheap, but one-at-a-time through email. Not very time efficient.

OR . . .

They can post the information on how to buy them "dirt cheap" and EVERYONE can buy one and then they make a butt-load of money with very little effort and save a lot of time.

Doesn't seem quite logical to me. I'm not sure, but I think someone is trying to pull one over on us.

Duh.

hello,

actually, this program really works. i'm getting my camera in about 3 days. it's not globalsources.com. i've tried that and it's illegal. you have to pretend you're a business man with an actual company. VERY illegal. and the reason i don't put the actual info in the forums is because i only want people really interested in this deal to email me. there is a 1% of people who shoot down anything that sounds impossible like this. they say "it can't work! it must be illegal! don't try it!" and then everyone believes HIM. but this isn't illegal, and it really works. i'm no businessman, i'm a filmmaker. and i'm very grateful for the man who told ME about this program. so i am out to help everyone else. i also can't put the info down in case someone considers it spam mail and erases my message. but if you really do want a XL1s for under 500$, email me (address in the first message) and i promise you that you won't be sorry. tons of other filmmakers have got their XL1s like this, for dirt cheap. you can do the same. it's nothing like globalsources.com. in MY program that i'll give to you, you simply pay your money, and you get your camera. it's that simple. see, now you understand why it's confusing that not EVERY filmmaker wants to do this! Smile

heh, the matrix system works something like this..

You go into the online matrix store and find a popular item and give them a certain amount,(be it $500 for an xl1s retailing $3500) Keep in mind that many others are also "pitching in" for this popular item. So at a given time you put your $$ in, and you go to the bottom of a list. Say there are 6 people ahead of you that have put $500 in for the xl1 they all want. Well, the first person(guy at the top of the scheme) will get the xl1 when you, the 7th person puts in $500 more, totalling $3500. He runs off with his camera and then guy #2 is at the top. 7 more people have to pitch in before he gets his, and so you move down untill 49 more people add in $500 before you get YOUR camera. This is why it takes months to get the camera, and keep in mind that the owners of the site can take someones input of money without telling anyone, so this can take longer.

If you don't want to wait 4-5 months to get an outdated peice of equipment, then you might as well take the green pill and get the hell out of the matrix.. Cool

With most matrix's yes you wait a good 5-8 months before you get anything. But one cool option a lot of them have is instead of the actual camera , they will just give you a check for the amount its worth (500 = 3500) etc.

It's basically like an investment, just varies on saftey depending on which matrix you sign up to. I have only done matrix's that are a legal system and I know people (personally) that have received there items etc.
In a way it can help filmmmakers out, I through in 170 bucks Canadian, and in return I will get 3500 amercian back. That is a S*hit load us Canadians. So ya , if you wanna wait for ever but have some money to invest, then find a safe promising matrix.

If you don't look I'll force you to _=_

Matrix systems sound really good and they CAN work. However, it is true, just like a traditional pyramid, those who get in first will get their stuff first.

A $3500 camera at $175 per person will take twenty people to get one camera. Let's say 19 people are ahead of you. When you sign up, the store now has $3500. They buy a camera and send it to person 1. Now the store has no money for cameras.

When twenty more people sign up, the store has enough to purchase a camera for person 2. Twenty more people sign up and person 3 gets a camera. 20 more, person 4. 20 more, person 5. 20 more, person 6. 20 more, person 7. 20 more, person 8. 20 more, person 9. 20 more, person 10. ...

Obviously, it isn't too hard to get 20 people to sign up, or even 40, so the first few people will get their stuff fairly quickly. But, if you are person 19, 360 people have to sign up AFTER YOU before you will get your camera. For every name above yours, twenty people more have to sign up before you will get your camera.

Also, there is no standard time for getting stuff. The lower on the list, the longer it will take.

THE BIGGEST WARNING: Also, no matter what they say YOU ARE NOT GUARANTEED A CAMERA because YOU ARE NOT BUYING A CAMERA! If you were promised a camera THIS WOULD BE ILLEGAL because they could not give you a camera at the time! In fact, what you are buying is just some crap. (An e-book in the case of ChoiceMatrix.com)

In theory, when your name comes up on the matrix, you will be sent the camera as a "free gift."

The biggest problem is this: YOU HAVE NO LEGAL RIGHT TO YOUR MONEY OR THE ITEM YOU WANT because technically you paid $175 for an e-book.

YOU CAN'T SUE if the company goes out of business. Why? Because they don't owe you anything! You paid for an e-book and you got one.

YOU CAN'T SUE if you want your money back even if it takes YEARS (or never) to get a camera. You paid for an e-book and you got one.

Also, don't try to talk your friends into this. You will find that you won't be friends for long. Especially if the day comes what you FINALLY get your stuff. Your friends will wonder where their stuff is. And remember, they have to wait 20 more people each for theirs.

IF YOU WANT TO DO A MATRIX: Your best bet is getting in early on a small rotation. A small rotation might be an item sent for every 5 people.

BUT NO MATTER WHAT -- THINK IT THROUGH.

The stuff from my post above is still true. However, I just wanted to point out that on ChoiceMatrix.com, the cycle for a Canon XL1s at $175 each is actually 30 people!!

Yes, they are taking $5250 for each camera. That means two things. First, it will take even longer to get your stuff (30 people for each person above you). Second, they are making a heck of a profit!!

If you happened to go look at the track list for the camera you will see that a lot of people have signed up. Congrats to the few people who got in early. And good luck (you'll need it) to those who have decided to sign up and are at the bottom.
