For my next project, I need to get an extremely grainy look for the footage. The setting is almost post-apocalyptic, so I really want to give a dirty and decaying feel to the film.
For those of you who have seen 'POWDER KEG' by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarittu over at bmwfilms.com, it is the exact look of which I'm talking about.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

might want to look into magic bullet editors, it has film damage filters built in, and although i havent used them i am sure after using their look suite that its pretty effective.

if you're shooting on film..just underexpose it a stop or two....and have the lab push your film back to normal density. that'll give you some real nice grain.
