has anyone here tried making their own homemade steady cam/glidecams...if so what plans did you use nad how did it work?

I'm thinking about trying to make this one, it's the most promising one I've seen...

Whats a really cheap glidecam you can buy online (I only need it for one shot so I don't need anything fancy)
