There are so many differently prices and named polarizing filters on B&H that I'm having a very difficult time tring to pick the right on. The more expensive (B + W) describe its lenses with built in warming and also F stops.
"Filter factor is between 2.3 and 2.8 (approx. +1.3 stops)."
How do I interpret the filter factor and also what do I look for in a polarizing filter? What options besides less reflection should I be aware of for these filters? I'm using a GL-2 and have a prime 50mm lens (Via Ben - cheers) and I need to buy in the next few days.
Thanks!

Speaking of which, I just adjusted the flange focal distance of the GG to the correct 42mm and I'll ship it out tomorrow or Wednesday (I have a college class tomorrow that takes up the whole day). Good luck with this question--I'm sorry to say I have no idea.
Get a Circular Polarising Filter, it allows you to adjust the angle that you are effectively stopping light comming from. Linear Polarisers also have problems working with Auto focus, and sometimes can soften an image pretty severly.
