I'm about to start filming my short with a Sony VX2000 that I borrowed from school. On here is a feature that allows me to adjust the f stop setting.

Can anybody lead me towards a refresher of how to use f stops appropriately? It's been awhile since my video production class, and I can't find the notes.

Thanks in advance,
krp

Check out this site on photography basics. The same general rules apply to your video camera as to a still film camera.

Hope that helps.
