Hullo all,

I have been able to track a down a store in my town that can get hold of a KAISER 1000wat video light. I suppose this will be used for the key light. Has anyone have any advice or experience with this specific light? What do most of you do for lighting?

Well I checked out all the lighting and equipment places in my city and its between that or a R12000 (about $2000) redhead set. Thats waaay over my budget!

You can always order a kit online. I got one from B&H and so far I've been very happy with it. Granted it's nothing fancy, but it's a lot better than nothing, and you can still get great results.

You can buy chinese made redhead kits for in the vicinity of $500-600 on eBay out of Hong Kong.

They might not be the same quality as the others, but they will do what you want, and for the use you will give them, they should be fine.

Yeah, the postage normally kills on those...
