Does anyone recommend the audio technica atr55 shotgun mic or sennheiser mke300 shotgun? Other suggestions?

If you can afford it, get a sennheiser... I was looking at an audio technica today at samy's camera (big LA vendor) and they carry only good stuff...and they had audio technica...which is what I have...but my friend says it sucks...but sennheiser is like the carl zeiss of sound. So I dont know, they look the same to me...audio wise...tough call?
