Yep, color. No LCD screen, but those just suck juics anyhoo. I wouldnt mind having one for glide cam shots though.

Lol dude i have seen you ask so may questions in the forum that would be so easily answered just by simply looking at the cameras website.

Was that you who asked how much a camera costs in another forum? dude! just look at a online store.. or go to pricegrabber.com!

Oh and BTW... the canon XL-1s viewfinder on standard out of the box models is color. You might have the upgraded viewfinder (which personally I would rather have as it allows more precise focusing) but I don't know why you would have that without paying the extra $1000+ for it.

I read that the xl1s has a black and white viewfinder kubric77. Also, btw, a b&w viewfinder allows easier focusing than color viewfinders. Your eye can focus easier in black and white. On my viewfinder setting s in the menuI just turn the color all the way down to turn it black and white.

I meant lcd screen, not viewfinder(most viewfinders are b and w)..
