Unless the weather conditions are perfect the fog from a glycol-fueled machine will dissipate into the air very quickly. Too fast to be able to fill a large area with the smoke. You would probably need several running in order to fill the background and the foreground. Vapor from dry ice however is very cold so it tends to stay close to the ground. I checked and there are several vendors in Australia, I dont know how much you would need to fill a large area though.
