im shooting a snowboard video with a K-3 16mm, any tips or shoot i just shoot with something else because of the cold? i dont think my GL2 could handle it.

I've used an Arri 16mm in bitter cold. The viewfinder starts to fog up from the warmth of your body (I suppose there's a risk of that for the lenses too) but it worked fine at around 8°F.

Viewfinder fogging is an issue even in less extreme temperatures. Over the break in Japan I shot some 16mm at temperatures of about 45° Fahrenheit and it was noticeable.

Just don't go from freezing slopes to the steamy sauna.
