I'm just about to purchase the xlr adapter and cable for my sound setup and I'm not sure which cable I'm supposed to get. I have a Canon GL2 and an Azden SGM1000 for a microphone, and I'm getting the Beachtek DXA-4P DXA-4P, and I don't know what cable I'm supposed to get: XLR to XLR XLR to XLR? XLR to mini? I really have no idea. And what's a good length for the cable, I was thinking of a 25 footer. Thanks.

The A-T one you linked to should be fine. 25 foot is a fine length for most purposes. It's probably a good call to have at least one backup, and probably some different lengths.

Well it's a bit late, but yes, from experience, an XLR will connect your Canon to your Azden.

u want to get female xlr to mini jack, thats the mic and setup im using right now actually.
