Same here Bigmovie, I've seen almost all of my friends go down the dark path of drinking alcohol just because others around them do it. It's pathetic how so many conform for illogical reasons.

i don't drink or smoke. i don't really have any reason to.

i have a lot of friends who drink [heavily in some cases], and i don't really see a problem with drinking in moderation. binge drinking is horrible though, or just drinking to get trashed.

it's not for me though.

Drank once. Didn't like it. Puked all nite.

Actually, I'm going to be sending my music video in about a kid who kills his own dad while drinking and driving. I mentioned about it before and we used the song Ghost Man On Third. We had a pretty nice car crash too. Big Grin

Ladies and gentlemen...today we have dean martin and jerry lewis going to camp with us...Jerry tells the jokes, dean sings the songs and gets the girls...lets have a big round of applause!~~~Remember The Titans

I used to drink like a fish (when I was your ages). If I had put my time to filmmaking or some other creative work, I'd be famous!

Way back when, drinking wasn't looked uponn like it is now - and that includes drinking and driving. It's a wonder I (and my friends of those days) weren't killed or others around us. I look back on it and should say a hundred prayers!

I drink very little (if any) now. As a diabetic, it isnt' very good for me and it also interacts with my medications (which are many!).

I come from a family of drinkers from way back when, so I guess I got it honestly! It's good to see several posting that they don't need to drink. Good attitude.

I don't make a habit out of drinking, but I have (nice story, toasted my first drink, a Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey, with a celebrity. Can't say who, but it was cool). Smokin's more my vice of choice, but even that is fadin a bit (I always say that).

I am not of legal age and have never drunk more than a few sips of wine here and there. Smile

I'll probably drink now and then when I can, but I find things like drugs, drinking, and even coffee to be self-destructive habits and I'll probably avoid all of them. I do not mind other people drinking (alcohol or coffeeBig Grin) at all - its just something that does not appeal to me personally.

Unlike second-hand smoke, I can honestly say I have never consumed second-hand alcohol!

yeah, i drink. it's a good time. i'll be going to a real college soon, c'mon ;-)

i'm not crazy or stupid though. i can control myself. if i'm at a party and i know i have to drive home later, hella no i'm not drinking anything.

i remember all the jocks in high school, even freshman year, bragging about how they went out and got drunk every weekend. or how they mixed in vodka with iced tea bottles and got drunk AT school. now that's just dumb.

Used to drink a lot when i was 18 to 21 then stopped. Feel better than ever ( im now 27) Dont smoke either, never have.
Heavy drinking is a waste of time, usually 2 days, 1 of drinking and 1 of recovering

Nope. Never had alcohol. My mom uses wine in cooking sometimes, but the alcohol gets cooked out.

To stop myself from drinking all I do is imagine myself 10 years down the road:

hmmm. that picture is going to have to be taken down. kind of unappropriate.

And frankly.....I don't want to see that.....at all.

Sorry guys.

But I left the link to it if you really do want to see it. But that will be at your own disgression. We don't need the board cluttered with pictures of nude fat men.

Haha. It's funny that this picture came up here because I sent the same one to my friend in an email on Thanksgiving (to warn her what would happen if she ate too much)
