Hey, I'm doing some audio stuff with Adobe Premiere and a couple other programs. Anyway I know Premiere "conforms" the audio imported into the project. I just wanted to know if anyone had a clue about what this "conforming" is. Are we losing any information? Are we losing quality?

I have these 32-bit float captures I need to keep clean is all. Thank you in advance.

Adobe converts all imported footage to 48k 32bit float, but it does the "conform" process on audio that's already in that sample rate anyway. I don't know why, but anyway, no, you're not losing any quality. It's only for preview and playback purposes anyway.
