Hey guys, I just bought a panasonic pv-gs200 and kinda new to premiere and havent tried to export my edited video until tonight. Im trying to export it right to my dv camera. Its hooked up and all is good but i cant figure out how to copy it to my dv tape.. I put it in vcr mode and click the record button but all that does is record it to my SD card.. Not the minidv tape.. Anyone know what the problem is? thanks

I used Premiere 6.5 before switching on down to Final Cut... but, I can only guess your problem is because you have your cam on photo mode?
That's realistically not the problem... but, you never know.

Sorry that I can't help.

its like i have a card that captures pictures and short mpeg movies. And when i try to record from premiere i hold down record and play and it records right to my card and not minidv tape. I might just have to call panasonic cause instructions for the cam dont help at all.. but thanks

Okay i figured it out. Im an idiot. There are two seperate buttons on the side that u hvae to hold down to activate the tape and not the card. It was something to simple, but of course i overlooked it..Actually the card is kinda cool.. it automatically converts it to 15 fps. SO i can always record to both and see which one looks better.
