I need some people in my crew (to hold the boom, to film ect.) I am having no problem getting people signing up for the show, I jest need a crew, Do you know how i could go about getting people intrested? and also what are the good specifications for a boom mic? And also another question does anyone know of a website that can tell me about the basics of lighting and other helpful information! Thanks a lot!

I know this may sound a little odd, but I have to comment on the show. Try making your show unusual and fresh. It sounds like, and you said it was like, fear factor. Look at other good reality shows and see how they attract people. Now I know you cant get a huge prize or fly people around the world but be creative and make your show something people would like to participate in as well as watch.

To me it seems fear factor draws people in for a short time. I can turn it on in the middle, get some thrills, and leave. Try to one up that by doing something other than touching bugs and things.

Stay within your boundries. You want to be like fear factor, but really cant. You cant walk on a beam from building to building without things turning dangeresque. I learned, after a while, that It might be hard to make my first screenplay truely stunning unless I used what I was given so I made a teen movie. So try to do something thats thrilling with what you have.

Think of it this way... make it so me, or anyone on this board, would love to watch it. Think of it from an audience members perspective. Make fresh and new. Most reality TV has become stale and cheap... make yours an exception. With a great concept more people will come.

You could pay people if you need a crew because there are tons of people who need cash even if its very little but if you dont have the funds to pay them just ask some of your friends or if that doesnt work then try talking to people and tell them what they can get out of it....

Wouldnt hurt to try.
