sorry, i'll try to explain furthur. its just like a storyboard. its just a scene from a movie and i'm trying like a kinda establishing shot and there working out shots after that. i would just like some advice on those shots.

some advice from another forum:

" For starters... too much headroom. You will also need to move in or out on the fourth shot because as it stands, it looks like you will be cutting off below the knees which is a cruel thing to do."

just things like that, sorry i'm 15, just trying to learn filmmaking and any, ANY advice would be so much appreciated

that address doesn't work. I have a feeling the ... is causing the problem, but just taking it away doesn't fix it.

shoot the story with shots. Remember, it's the collective whole of all those shots that tell the story. Smile

Argh! How pretentious. I hate bumpersticker terminology. Its useless and painfull to witness. Then again maybe there's something to this mindless quote business, here let me try, "Shoot with needles not Dv tape" or "Shoot it for the love of God!" or "Stop or I'll shoot" or "Shoot with your inards not your outards" or "Don't shoot they're only watermelons!"... oh nevermind.

Sorry this was just as useless.

if only we would all more pretenious, if only hollywood were pretentious, maybe then they'd make a film "about" something or "for" something, a film with a reason of importance, if they cared, not just for the $$$ and maing a pretty picture.

He he I like this guy. You may wanna look up the meaning of pretentious. Lemme help ya out:

Pretentious: Claiming or demanding a position of distinction or merit, especially when unjustified.
Making or marked by an extravagant outward show; ostentatious. Showy, pompous, snobbish.

I think Hollywood has pretentious pretty much locked up.

Plus "there's a fine line between importance and self importance."

Hey I did it look my very own bumper sticker!

Hey we still need that link before we can pretend we know what we're talking about!

yup, thats the one i looked up BEFORE i made my post, and i stand by it. i like ppl who are showy and pompus and snobbish, because they usually care about themselves so much in films that they forget about the $$$ and their films come out better, major corporations arent pretentious, they hide behind a studio but pull the strings and press the buttons
