It's a film about film. By now most are hitting the back button and moaning. Here's the concept. Film in the past, present, and future.
past- when film was in it's early days and director's had to carry their reels with them to theatres for people to view the. There was absolutely no reliabilty for the film. So often they would get stolen, and there was an underground mafia that sold and made money off of stolen films. It would be about a director's struggle to claim there film.
present- a film student has some difficult choices and times making a controversial piece that everyone she knows is against
future- When it is a time of conflict and technology. Editors are called on to re-enhance and alter material to look like conspiracies (i.e. watergate, lewinsky, etc.) but it would be regarding leaders of the time. It would follow a man's journey through his deceitful job.
It would basically tell the power of film and media against people. I don't plan on putting the stories together(except the charachter will relate with one another through their emotions)
what do you think? what story do you dislike?
More information will follow depending on interest

I usually have very audascious films, if I ever complete this script it would probably be a professional feature. Films that I generally do are low-budget, but i tend to write big scripts just for the fun of it.
What I originally had in mind was that each time would represent a process of production:
past = pre-production. The main protagonist would be writing the film and organizing it present = production. They would be making it, their film with the conflict happening. future = post-production. Since he's an editor he manipulates and changes the past.
I'm glad you liked it. I hope I get more repies. Thanks for looking at it.

No dude your gonna get your idea stolen! But too late, i guess. Hah.. anyway.. hey sounds liek it could be a very interesting story. I like the present one. Sounds familiar with some of the themes i am writing in for my current pre-production project. If you ever write it, i would be interesed in reading it. But people like to steal bright ideas from places like this and make their own movies so i would be carefull.. next time you enter a film festival and someone else stoel your idea. I personally think its better to write the script before you tell the world, but thats just me. Good ideas.. keep it up.

Thanks, this is just an idea, if someone decides to steal it, I've already been working on the copyright for it. Thanks for the reply. And of someone does decide to take, well plagerism is the highest form of flattery
