This for me is a pain, I want a good open shot of the room but it's to small for my trypod or anything else, and I want it to look down into the room, so this is a cheap rig,of,a,ma gizmo. lol

Sure it is! You can just stack some books or pieces of wood under it! And if you want to shorten it, just saw a piece out of the middle. It's wood!

Thats what I'm talkin bout, lol.

If you try it out for your self, you will see the best way to get a look at the whole room is from up high anyway.

I'm sure you could easily make it height adjustable, anyways. If you got an other 2x4 you could get a couple of clamps like these or something simlilar (i've seen some with nylon straps that go around a square post too). Then rig the posts next to each other and clamping it toghether how ever tall you want it to be.

i'm sure theres easier solutions out there, just throwing one out.
