anyone can make a film if they have enough money and time, with a nursing job you might not have enough time, so maybe just save up and quit...

If you wanna be a film maker, then you are one. I mean all you really need is the passion to become one. As far as talent. Buy a little camera for a few hundred dollars.. Write a few shorts and shoot them whenever you have a free moment.

I personally dont think you need film school to be a good film maker. I went for 3 years and eventually had to leave cause they werent teaching me anyting i didnt already know and were actually taking away my creativity by trying to transform everyone to what THEY thought was good film making..

Anyway, If you wanna be a film maker: go buy a camera or rent one and GO SHOOT.. dont wait around wishing you had more time for film school. Read some books if that will make u feel more confident with a camera. Do it on your own.. develop your own style.

You will learn more doing it on your own.. trust me. Good luck!
