Hey I was wondering what I could do to make a good ghost movie. I do understand you need to film infront of the green screen then add transparency and make the ghost white with the color control? Anyways how would I make that trail effect ghost have and what else would I have to do?

And also is there anyone on StudentFilms.com that did a nice ghost movie? Or even messed around with a ghost and think you can show me? Anything will help me thanks alot.

you can do a ghost effect without greenscreen, which will look much better on consumer equipment.

1) lock down tripod, film shot without ghost actor

2) without moving camera AT ALL film shot with ghost actor in it

3) in editing app, layer shot 2 over shot 1, play with the opacity.

I made a ghost film once. I just went for the classic white sheet over the body effect. Simple, effective. That is if you are deliberatley trying to make your film look bad, like I was.
