I'm a senior in highschool right now and next year im planning on going to a College or University with a good film program. I live in Columbia, MO and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for schools. I would goto USC or NYFA but obviously you can only goto those if you are really rich or want to have a huge loan to pay off when you get out.

When I get out of school I plan on saving up enough money to make a well budgeted movie for around 10 grand. For obvious reasons I can't goto anything too expensive so I was wondering if anyone could give me some recommendations for film schools that would put me in debt for like 20 years Red Face

I heard good things about the film program in the University of New Orleans. You can get 4 years of tuition paid off there for 24 thousand (9 the first year 5 thousand every year after. I was wondering if anyone could give me there insights ;o

There's an entire forum here devoted to film schools ( http://forums.studentfilms.com/eve/forums?a=frm&s=2086066451&f=5486066451 ). The archives from the old forum can still be found here ( http://pub20.ezboard.com/fstudentfilmsfilmschools
).

Nota "Never uses NYFA and USC in the same sentance" Mono

I'm a senior too, and I'm planning on going to the State University of New York at Purchase. From what I hear, it has a really nice film program for a State U., and it's fairly cheap (less than 4,000 a year if you're from NY). It's also only about 20 minutes from New York City, so it'll be pretty easy to find work after you graduate.
