This has nothing to do (really) with the making of the film, but how would you go about making a real size movie poster. The cheapest I can work out getting it is around 80 to 100 dollars (AU)*. Is there anyother way?

*This is designing the poster and taking it to a printing place that can do such sizes with such quality.

i dunno if they have kinkos in Australia or not, but a friend of mine got 4 full size full color posters from them for 120 bux. They were on nice glossy paper, looked great. Another alternative is to purchase a larger sized design printer, which can print on larger paper stock, not a full movie poster though. These run about 400-500 dollars.

there's a website that does photo quality 30x40 prints for twenty bucks a piece. Really, like museum quality printed on silver halide paper archival prints. It's by far the best deal around that I know of for quality photo prints of that size. The quality far surpasses kinkos or any of those offset printers.

Even with shipping to Oz, it's probably cheaper than anywhere. Since I'm so nice, here's the link to their internet only specials:
