Hi, new member with a quick question.

I am the executive producer/club president of our colleges' production company. Our organization will receive money from the school, but its never more than $50 a month (i can stretch that).

We are a non-profit, focused on higher education, and based in a college. I have looked into grants. We might be able to get some, but thats an insanely long process.

Is there other ways that our club/organization can receive more funding?

Who did some of you raise money?

if you were in canada u might be able to get some money from telefilm.

Not based in Canada, Minnesota.

Southwest Minnesota State University to be exact

Asks friends, businesses, etc... Grants Thats if you want to wait till you 60. But give it a try. I'd say asking some businesses is your best chance. Or look around for some art/film funding organisation.

yah, we have two large businesses nearby that i am applying for grants. i hope they dont take that long.

Art/Film funding organization dont even know what those would be. Or how to search for them.

I can write proper scripts, draw storyboards, work with high end cameras, and edit with Premiere,BUT i dont know the first thing about raising money.
