omg- i need to bring down the capture quality- its taking way too much space on my comp- but i can't find where to change it- anyone know where it is? thnx-

i dont use premiere but in avid you can switch the capture quality to the offline resolution 15:1. Mabey premiere has something like that?

are you capturing DV or uncompressed? DV is supposed to average out at around 12-14 GB an hour. Uncompressed is 80 GB an hour.

You can use a really basic program like MovieMaker for capture, save it as .avi, and then open in through Premiere. That way you can compress it and change the quality settings.
