Hello!
I am in pre-pre production, lol, just brainstorming. On a student's budget, after renting a camera and all that, is it possible to film a location outside, like a landscape, and have it look like the day sky is actually covered in ash, sort of shortening the line of sight, and blotting out the sun? Is this a possible effect to create either while filming or in the editing room without any experience? If the answer is simply no, thats ok, I just have no idea.
Thanks in advance!

Mmm... Roll Eyes I know that many filmmakers use smoke machines to give an atmosphere. Maybe you could get a black smoke and just spray it around in the background. The smoke normally floats around for a looooong time... Big Grin
