It all takes place within one day. And each show is in real time. Each episode is one hour in the day. Hence the name 24.
It's about an anti-terrorist agency in the US that handles terrorism threats. It focuses on one agent, named Jack Bauer (Keifer Sutherland), and how he helps stop the terrorists.
It's probably the best show on TV right now. It breaks all boundaries. It is not scared to kill multiple major characters. You'll find yourself sayin "Oh, that guy better not die. They would never kill a main character" or "There's no way that is going to happen." But usually, the guy will die, and the event will happen.
You have to expect anything. My mom can't watch it sometimes because it is SO tense.
yeah, what did happen to Alias? Thats another one I'd been meaning to watch. There was this whole period where I saw no TV at all cause we moved and the reception was terrible, and we got satellite a bit ago and I'm trying to catch up now Currently hooked on West Wing, Lost, House, Wire in the Blood (which, sadly, seems to be over), and as of monday, Waking the Dead.
waiting anxiously for Monk and the 4400 to come back.

THANKS so much for posting this. I recorded the first four episodes and watched them back to back.
Easily the most amazing tv show I've ever seen. I can't stop thinking about it. Its so tense, and so realistic, and so believable, and because of all that: so disturbing
you've made an addict of me. can't wait for next episode!
