I'm filming a music clip (doing d.o.p.) this weekend and I was wondering if anyone had any tips that would help?

I'm filming only the band playing this weekend, it's simply them jamming at a hall, the storyline will be filmed the following weekend.

I've never done one before so if anyone could give me some do's and do not's, that would be great.

Are you planning on having dialog?

Play the music as your filming, and then once someone is about to speak cut the volume to record what they are saying.

There'll be no dialogue.

Simply the storyline told through pictures intercut with the band playing.
