Back in December, I wrote the score to a film that was listed here, "The Hit", by Bryce007. I thought it was an awesome flick and I had a wonderful time scoring it, but I haven't seen him since its completion, and he hasn't responded to any of my emails/phone calls since I finished the score. I really wanted a final version with my name in the credits and my music integrated, either on DVD or just as an .avi/.mov/etc., but haven't had a chance to see it since he kind of disappeared on me.
I was wondering if anyone else here has been in contact with him? Like maybe he changed emails and forgot to tell me, etc.?
Thanks!

It's kind of a shame that I fell out of contact somehow, I really enjoyed working on that style of action films and haven't been able to find many other similar opportunities. So if anyone has any information on his whereabouts, or does similar films, I'd be very grateful to find out!

That doesn't sound good! It's really bad form to stop answering people who have worked with you, so I hope this is a mistake on his part. Have you tried sending a private message?

Yeah I sent quite a few private messages, emails, etc. I even tried looking for all the people in the credits list on Google and IMDB, no dice there either....

yeah, I really hate filmmakers that don't honor promises and generally tread on other filmmakers backs to serve their purpose. It happens all too often, unfortunately.
You could always threaten a cease and desist for your intellectual property. Even if you had a contract, he surely broke it by not fulfilling his obligation to provide a copy in a timely manner.
Well I really don't wanna demonize him or anything, I just kinda wanna be able to see the film I worked on. I did the score for free too (which I rarely do), since it would've been a good opportunity for exposure and portfolio-fodder. So it has been kind of a bummer sending email after email, phone call after phone call, these past few months. I'm sending out CD demos now actually, which is why I'm still kind of anxious about this even months after the fact.
But oh well, if no one else heard from him then it's probably a lost cause at this point. I guess this is one of those things you have to just chalk up to experience - the internet's great for collaboration, but bad things can still happen, and people can really just up and "disappear" for whatever reason. This is why I can't wait to move to Los Angeles and FINALLY get to work with people in person! ;-)
