Greetings all,

I’ve just finished my most recent and, I consider, best short film. It’s called “March The Second” and is based on the book “The Internet Incident” which is based on true events surrounding an 80’s espionage incident.

It’s 33 Minutes long which is a bit long for most internet viewers but you can watch it on YouTube. I was going to send it to Studentfilms but because it’s so long I’m afraid it won’t get many views.
Anyhow here’s the link to the playlist:

Or if you want to watch the trailer first:

Please give me some constructive criticism. Friends, family and people who are part of the film seem to keep most of the criticism to themselves.

Well first of all, the trailer is technically very well done I must say. Its one of the few times I have not been turned off by a independent/student trailer. The smooth dolly shoots at the beginning are very professional.
However the trailer doesn't reveal hardly anything about the story. I would maybe put a few shots that give a few more hints about what the story is actually about.
Also I would say the voice-over seems to be a little unnecessary. I think your trailer would be much more chilling and effective with just that subtle score you have going on (which I also like) and the visuals.

These are just first-impression observations,
I'll probably watch the full length in just a moment and let you know what I think.
