Hey everyone,

I promise this is my last post for awhile...I need to finish my next flick...but I need to say something in a form of thanks. Not sure why but I thought I would speak on a topic real quick...

It's 2:33Am here in Seattle Washington and I'm pretty sure its raining like always but oh well I'm in the mood to create. I'm about to finish my next script and excited as a little kid in Toy's R US. I'm very glad to be part of this community and is it me or did this site just get ten times better in the last month...I mean, we got so much talent here and so much hope for better things to come. Our arguments, may sometimes be intense and our opinions different like black and white but we all are doing the same thing....ART!

In a time when the world is crazy and confused we all come to this site to escape, learn, share and communicate with each other. All strangers in our personal and daily lives but connected by that familiar art form we like to call "film". It is in these times when it is so important to "move it". Whether it be through film, pastels, oil paints, music, poetry or coloring crayons, we all need to express ourselves to show what we can do and teach the next generation how to do it, as we are learning from people before us.

What is a story with no end? What is a story with no main character? No arch? no base or theme? It's nothing.

What I'm trying to get at is this "studentfilms.com" community is a base, it's a theme...it has characters and actions, its motivates and teaches...studentfilms.com is a story in a far out sense. I want to emphasize the importance of this site on my life and my ability to tell stories because you all have helped me so much. I have complete strangers e-mailing me to tell me how to better my next project. These are people I have no background with, people, who in the past, I have told to F*ck off over some dumb debate, people who have better things to do with their time than to help me out. Although, because they feel a connection, they take their extra time to help a person out like myself, who has no movie deals, no money, no "real" talent, no set in stone future or ready to "buy" scripts under his belt. These people help me out because they care about the form of film as art and want to see me grow...what a fabulous word we live in. Lets forget about the war and see what great things we got around here for a hot minute...

Lets keep this community alive and push forth with the next films! Don't stop now, we all can "MOVE IT!" We can make this dream of becoming film makers alive. I trust in everyone that their films can be great that we can all one day see our names and stories told on the big screen. I want to thank you all for influencing my art and motivating me to keep going with this frustrating but beautiful goal of making films to help the next Joe Shmo get by and live another day.

Of course this is a bunch of ramble and a late night vent, but I really feel that this site is a good thing and I encourage everyone to continue to help each other and to never loose site of what "STORY" you want to tell! Keep filming!!!

THANK YOU, see ya'll around soon.

Besides filming, the only other thing I ever did good was filming.

Well said mind. Good luck on your latest, and I look forward to your triumphant return. If you get a chance, throw us a production update now, and again.

No... It's life.

But it's good to hear such a positive story about your development and the level of support that you are receiving.

Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing and hearing more.
