In the summer, me and quite a few films will be getting together to make a film during our time off college.
We'll be using replica guns, and replica swords, however, are wondering about the laws in England.
We will be filming in quite a secluded area. Open fields, during the day, out of peoples way. However, we do not want to cause any trouble for other people.
I need to know if this is OK before we start, and am having trouble finding advice. I visited the Northumbria police website, and couldn't find any information on prop swords and replica pistols.
Thank you,
Burnout.

As much as I'd like to, I still have a feeling someone may possibly complain.
England has suffered from the feeling of "meh" since the clouds have been overcast. Which has been hundreds of years. So yeah, slightest bit of fun we have, I can imagine someone complaining. Even in the unlikely chance someone walks past walking their dog.
I'm just hoping someone can find something about the laws though.

The cops up in the north yorkshire area usually aren't that strict, if there are any around period. Alot of kids and teenagers own such things, alot without orange tips, and usually never get in trouble unless they try to play it off like it's real. (ans in trying to rob the post office with a pellet gun)
