almost a year ago I tried to send a suitcase hitchhiking across the U.S. with little response (no response really), but I still like the idea and was considering sending another. I have not yet decided on the destination, although I'm considering a trip across Canada this time. and would like help and suggestions from anybody interested. For more information about this and our previous project go to our web site TDRproductions.comor my previous post. basically we just want to set the suitcase on the side of the road and wait for people to pick it up. then in theory they would write back to our web page with stories, pictures, and possibly even video clips. we never received news back from the original suit case, but we plan to make some changes and try again. The first hitchhiking suitcase
some one did, we watched as some one picked it up and took it down the road. Shortly i will have the video footage of that with a narration of what we did, uploaded to the web page, probably Monday
the suitcase which this idea is based upon made it from Colorado to northern Montana

Don't stop trying.. I say Canada is your best bet any ways, for millions of reasons, which I talk about just yet.
What I think you need for this project to become successful is dedication and public relations. Make sure people know about the suitcase before you put on some side walk in British Columbia. If you want it to Make it to Newfoundland, what you need is people to recognize it, and want to take part in the journey.
Lol, try Entertainment Tonight or Extra (it's a possiblity!?!), but I would definately start with a local newspaper.
Give the suitcase some edge too, and purpose.

That sounds like something I would defintly take part in. Maybe make the person feel rewarded somehow for picking it up. So it's not just about them sending stuff to you, but you giving them something in return... even if it is just a sense of satisfaction. I think it would be cool if you could get people to add stuff to it along its journies. Just... a little personal thing from each person who finds it.
That sounds like it could be a very intersting adventure. I look forward to hearing how it goes!
This is my signature.
