I don't post much, but this was the movie I was most looking forward to this summer (I'm a big fan of the first), and this trailer did nothing but boost my excitement. I felt that trailer kicked unbelievable amounts of ass, pure summer moviemaking from the looks of it, but with a good story too. What did you guys think?

The newest trailer is probably one of the most exciting things I've ever seen. I was looking foward to the sequels for a very long time. When I heard about the trailers I started anticipating them as well. I can't wait 'til Reloaded releases. Awesome trailer...looks great!

Yeah, I've watched all the Animatrix shorts so far. My favorite as of now is 'Program', very cool stuff in that one, although I think "Detective Story' has some outstanding visuals. A great anime series so far, and I've never even watched anime before. And I agree hero84, the slow motion in that trailer was surreal; when that agent jumps on that car in the middle of the highway....whoa.

Its gonna be quite a year....

The cloves are courtesy of the new CG Cimnematography. They are so impressed by its abilities, they dare you to pick out which is the real agent in those shots, and which is CG. Amazing stuff, they certainly have raised the bar.

I have doubts that Reloaded is going to be any good. What made The Matrix so cool is that you really didn't know what was happening, until later. So then you watch it again, picking up on all the little things. And you can keep watching it picking up more things. The story is already set in Reloaded, so I'll be surprised if it's any good.

wow another sequel. another reasone i never go to the theatres in the summer time. lets ruin another movie because we can make a quick hundred million! ya! i cnat wait until the next sequel comes out. its turning into a monster. like survivor 74. good god. ppl are afraid of cloneing because of movie sequels. a recycled piece off trash that turns terribly wrong.

Uhhh...the Wachowski Brothers always envisioned The Matrix as a trilogy.

Yeah, that's the number one complaint I hear about the new Matrix Reloaded. "Oh it's a sequel, they're just cashing in since the first one was so successful." The Wachowski Brothers from day one envisioned a Matrix Trilogy, and I have no doubt in my mind that not only will Reloaded be great, but so will Revolutions. These are action blockbusters with SMARTS. This is THE flick I'm looking forward to this summer, and to have a massive cliffhanger at the end of the movie that is so big that the brothers insisted that the 2 sequels be released a mere 6 months apart...well....I'm ready.

Well, first of all, I disagree with you on your thoughts on the concept of a Matrix trilogy. It's going to be epic, like Lord of the Rings.

Um, dude, you need a reality check. The only reason Hollywood makes movies to being with is to get money. That "let's ruin another movie" line is baseless because, well, they never really care about the content initially, either. They just care if it can make that "quick hundred million" that you talked about.

Face it, if you saw and enjoyed the first Matrix, you've already given in to Hollywood and you might as well see the rest of them. Don't try to paint a picture of yourself that's somehow above watching major studio releases. It's a product... A damn good product, and there's no shame in liking it.

Matrix will doubtlessly be the biggest film of the year. It will surpass Return of the King, this i have no doubt.

The trailer is very good, but some things are overdone or just look, well, 'naff'. Example, the contrast in the begining when they are jumping is off by a noticeable amount (ie, between the actors and backgrounds), what makes up for it is the kickass ripples! those rule.

the part i hate the most about the trailer is Neo flying. That looks extrememly stupid and pitiful. Not something to look forward to. But whatever, hopefully they should the worst few seconds of him flying.

Not the best or most enjoyable trailer I've ever seen (watch the Army of Darkness traier), but I am still definetly looking forward to the film.

Surpass Return of the King? That's simply FALSE. Return of the King is just plain huge. They made two 3-hour movies just to pick up hype for it!
