For me, it's the Matrix sequels that I can't wait for. I'm obsessed. It's pretty pathetic. Every morning, I watch the full-length theatrical trailer for Reloaded. It helps me start off my day right. I have a 100 megabyte version of it that fills my entire screen. I've read all the articles available on it and I have complete faith in the Wachowski brothers. These next two sequels are going to reinvent cinema.

As for others I'm looking forward to, LOTR:ROTK is an obvious one. Kill Bill is going to be astounding. I read the script for it online, and I gotta tell you, this movie is going to be very gritty and very violent. You thought the sodomy scene in Pulp Fiction was bad? I got two words for you: coma rape. Enough said. Kill Bill is going to blow the f*ckin roof off.

Has everyone forgot about X2? Or am I the only one looking forward to that? X2 is going to be sweet. Another movie I recently saw a trailer for that I am majorly anticipatins is called "Underworld". It has Kate Beckinsale (hot girl from Pearl Harbor) who plays an incredibly badass vampire in tight leather. The whole movie is about the war between vampires and the lycons (werewolves). The trailer was sweet as hell. The cinematography was also very sweet. Kate Beckinsale rules. If you want to see the trailer, go to joblo.com and go to the trailer section. You can find it there: "Underworld" - It's gonna rule.

Other movies that will rule: The Last Samuri, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Bad Boys 2, and 28 DAYS LATER!!! 28 Days Later is going to reinvent the zombie genre. If anyone has seen Trainspotting, then they know the talent that is behind this movie coming out. Everyone should check out the trailer for 28 Days Later. I can't wait for this one as well.

Since we're on the topic of anticipation, there's two release dates for DVDs that I can't wait for. The first is May 13. On May 13, one of the coolest sci-fi movies I've seen in a while will be coming out. It's called EQUILIBRIUM. This movie rules my ass. It has Christian Bale, Taye Diggs, and Sean Bean. When it comes to story originality, this movie is lacking. The plot is basically a mish-mash of Farenheight 451, Brave New World, and 1984. You'll know what I mean once you read the plot synopsis. But when it comes to substance originality, this movie comes in first place. These guys basically invented a new form of martial arts calle gun-kata to make the fight scenes in this movie. This style of fighting combines guns and martial arts. "What the f*ck?" you say? I know, that's what I said. But once you see it, it will blow your mind. Christian Bale is a total badass in this movie. Gun-Kata is amazing. I'm going to try to explain it, but I know I won't do it justice: Basically, if you know gun-kata, and you are facing a certain number of people with guns, you basically figure every possible angle that each enemy can shoot at and score a direct hit on your body. Knowing this, you then position your body to minimize the number of direct hits coming from the enemies' directions. Then comes into play who you shoot first and how you hold your guns and when you move and how. If I confused you, I'm sorry. Just watch the movie when it comes out. It will blow your mind.

Another date I'm looking forward to is May 20. I am a huge Coen brothers fan and Spike Lee fan and Spike Jonze fan. And guess what comes out on May 20? ADAPTATION, 25TH HOUR, BARTON FINK AND MILLER'S CROSSING!!!! Holy god I'm gonna spend alot of money that day. Miller's Crossing is better than the Godfather. Adaptation is brilliant. Barton Fink is f*cked up, but I love it. 25th Hour is one of SPike Lee's best.

Well, I guess I've ranted long enough. I'm done now.

Sure, I'm anticipating Return of the King and the Matrix sequels, but what I really can't wait for is next summer, when Seriously Dude Where's My Car and Kung Pow II: Tongue of Fury come out. Say what you want about these movies, they were some of the best and most original comedies I have ever seen (esp. Kung Pow).

As far as X2, perhaps it's because I've never cared for comic books, but I am not planning on seeing that one. I saw the first X-Men and it struck me as surprisingly... ordinary.

Also, Wes Anderson is just starting a new project that stars Bill Murray, Nicole Kidman, and Gwenyth Paltrow. I have very high hopes for this one. Ever since Bottle Rocket, his movies just keep getting better and better. And, Owen Wilson is not going to co-write this script with him. We'll see how Wes handles himself solo.

What?! I like Owen Wilson when he's writing. Him and Wes make a great team, I wonder why he isn't co-writing. After all, these are the guys responsible for my favorite movie of all time (Rushmore, if you haven't seen it, WHAT ARE YOU ****IN WAITING FOR?!)

My guess is that Owen Wilson has (or had at the time) too much going on in his career to be spending time collaborating with his buddy Wes for a script. He's too busy fighting crime with Jackie Chan and Eddie Murphy.

Mr. Rodriguez created the best childrens film in the 00's, and possibly the 90's, with the first spy kids. The rest of the triology might be just to make money, and I am sure he is cool with that, hell I would be.

The first showing of his sheer briallance with the family movie was with his scene in four rooms, by far the best room of the movie, well tied with tarantino.

Mr. Rodriguez, he is a cool little hombre.

What is this supposed to mean???

Is it to my remark on Spider-Man 2?

It's so not like the comic. Spider-MAn has super human strength...but I doubt even Spider-Man could hold up a cable car...that's like Super-Man strength...not Spider Man strength.
