I am curious as to what aspects of filmmaking you are most interested in?

Personally, I am most interested in Producing.
Probably SFX would be second and cinematography would be third, but by far my main interest lies in Producing.

I think mine is probably editing. I enjoy the whole aspect of editing. And when I mean editing, i mean alot of the post stuff. Foley, ADR, compositing, etc. Thats probably my first. 2nd, is probably directing. Though on some shoots it's tuff to get things the way you want them, I enjoy it nontheless. And being able to go down to my basement, watch the "dailies" on my projector, and be able to get the vision.

I love directing, if i had to pick one job, it'd be that. however, i also heavily enjoy editing, directing photography, and scoring my flicks. the only thing I really don't enjoy is writing dialogue.

Infact, I'd rather someone else write a script and I direct it. to me, that makes things a little more interesting, because i didn't think it up.

Directing, cinematography/editing (I tend to view them as inseparable), then writing, probably in that order.

How can you enjoy 'producing'? Have you done any producing? It's not really something you can get a taste for in small student productions.

Edting with my Vegas Cool, directing, andn starintg to get more interested in cinematography. I can't stand writing, it puts me to sleep, which is why I often do not write complete scripts, but more of general guidelines.
