welcome wide-eye! Smile

nice work. i'll watch it again in a bit and give you a better idea of what i thought, cause i gotta run right now.

as a side note, I do need to let you know that you shouldn't make a regular practice of linking to movies which aren't on SF.com - it takes the support away from the site. Have you considered sending your film into this site? Its only $10 (about £5.23) per year to have Student Films host it Smile

haha...titaniumdoughnut you should make that bit about hosting on SF.com your signature. It seems like you're saying it once a day!

Actually, you're right Smile I am saying it about once a day! lol. But its an easy mistake to make, because most people just search around for places to show off their stuff and don't think of the fact that there could be a rule against it. What I SHOULD do is type one up, and keep it in a file on my desktop, so I don't have to rewrite it every time I need it Big Grin

Ok, as promised here I am to tell you what I thought of your movie. It grabbed me right away because of the odd filming style, quirky music and wide angle lens. And the cool english (cockney?) accent helped too Wink

The editing was what I didn't like. Several times it seemed like a take had gone badly, but you'd used it anyway, or cut it too long, or too short. I understand you made it in 20 minutes, so I can't pick on stuff like that TOO much Smile One time I saw white socks, presumably on the feet of the camera man, as he went in for a closeup on the fallen burglar. I think I saw some sort of equipment at the bottom of the stairs in one shot too, but I couldn't be sure. The ending felt a bit lame; maybe it would have worked the way it was, if some kind of exciting thing had happened. Like him being chased out.

Anyway, all in all, a very fun film. And considering its being done in 20 minutes, very good!

I understand you did this in 20 minutes which is cool I guess why not just film longer next time though and make something that is good?

hey this flm is excellent, it may be a bit off in some places but hey this is a really good piece of work. You most probably had a lot of fun filming this, and thats whats its all about as long as you do a good job of the video. It made me burst out laughing at the scene when the burglar falls down the stairs, anyway great job!

The most difficult part of filmmaking is filming your idea the way you see it not how camera sees it.
