Im pretty excited. Generally my scripts are pretty reasonable in terms of how they are written, but they demand more mature looking actors and some 15-19 year-olds arent going to cut it. Well I was editing some of my movies at school and I thought they were okay except for the lack of plot, it just happened some of the more productive people in class (The ones going to like Film schools and such) get such a big kick out of my garage movies with their seemingly random plots, semi-cool actions, and some pretty awkward camera angles. Well instead of taking it as criticism Ive decided to make it into a movie. This weekend when our "group" of 8 meets again and we finish the first day of filming for a new short film, im going to shooting my mockumentary about my films. Ill post it in a month or two when its done, it should be pretty enjoyable.

Hey, that sounds like a great idea, who knows what it will turn up! The key, I find anyways, is to always hit up something fresh in terms of ideas. If I find a cool scene in my head or a good idea, I play it thru and try and see how many different ways it can be filmed etc.

Mockumentary's always make me laugh, good luck!

You see? All you filmmakers out there with writer's block, there's the answer! The best stuff comes straight out of real life. Take something funny that has happened to you in the past, modify it a bit, and you can make a great film.

That (taking an experience from real life and adding to it) is what I did for "freedom from gaming dependency". Its just.............we don't really have.....whats the word.....talent. But hey, it still makes people hanging out in the computer lab at school laugh and thats good enough for me. btw does anyone know who Jay Morgan is or is he just an alias of one my friends/con artist/serial killer?

The name seems familiar, but I don't know who Jay Morgan is.

I thought Freedom from Gaming Dependency was pretty good for a little while, but it sort of fell apart after a while once the somewhat random camera shots and plot sort of fell off. Honestly, after the intro and the guy writes the paper, I didnt know what was going on lol. But it was defintley a funny subject.

I usually don't take stuff from MY life, but from overhearing things from others. That's always fun.

Most ideas that come to me are when I'm shooting hoops.

Smile My "mini-script" has really evolved. Originally it was going to be a mockumentary, but now Im actually adding a plot to its going to actually have more depth and more jokes that arent diretly attributed to the subject. Im just sure wheter most of the jokes are going to be hit and miss or wheter they will actually come across as intended.
