What do you think is a better idea to do. I have written a movie script and don't know if I should sent it to an agent or post it on triggerstreet.com (i feel a little uncomfortable putting my script online for people to see because alot of people might steal ideas :O )

Just as a personal opinion, I would do one of two things: (1) write a treatment (character breakdown, short synopsis); or (2) write a cover/query letter and with the full script . . .
Mail (either #1 or #2) to every agent, producer, and film studio I could get an address for.
But before I did that, I would protect myself and register the script with either WGA East or WGA West (depending on whether you are east or west of the Mississippi River).
I'm like you. I have a slight apprehension about posting complete scripts for all to see. You can register/copyright your script, but you can't register/copyright an idea!
Good luck.

As true as that is registering your script means you can keep that nearly copyrighted for however long you have your script registered. Meaning something like. You might get a Stigmata/Sixth Day, Matrix/Thirteenth floor, but that's about as close as your script will be to anyone else's. If that's not clear, get your information straight from source. The Scriptwriter's Bible. Best mandatory book I've had to buy for school so far.
