The Passion touched me but didnt draw any tears, I don't know why. this may sound corny but I was pretty torn up inside watching it. It felt like someone had taken a serated blender and was tearing me up. When Spacey is talking about his father abusing him, I cried. Child abuse always gets me. Also Tears of the Sun drew alot out of me. That movie was so damn real, I dont see how anyone couldn't cry from it. Even though the scene in Braveheart when he screams freedom is my favorite part in the whole movie, I have never cried. That may be because I haven't watched it in the right setting.

I also was pretty choked up by Big Fish, and Finding Nemo too, but somehow I just can't cry at movies anymore. I know I probably did when I was a kid, but somehow I just can't do it now. It's weird. Oh, and I hate to admit this, but I also was choked up at the end of "South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut". Yeah, go ahead, laugh at me...

How could you be bored in "The Passion", Hoeks? And I have to agree with you, Prometheus, "Tears of the Sun" was so realistic that you felt so bad for the people that died. It was a tough movie, and I left it with tears in my eyes. I also got misty eyed when Michael Clark Duncan gets executed in "The Green Mile". The only other movie was "Old Yeller" and its been almost 12 years since I have seen it. When a child or a dog dies in a movie, it's a cheap blow.

oh i was almost balling when i saw the Passion but i held back, composed myself and enjoyed it. honestly ----------- Alejandro Lalinde www.greystreetfilms.com"A film is - or should be - more like music than like fiction.
