I dont know if you have one in your area, but some tech. schools have video programs that accept high school students. I took a TV/video production class at a tech school my junior year. It wasn’t as creatively focused as I would have liked. We worked mostly on camera and editing technique, but its really good practice, and its sort of cool, because it puts you one step ahead of all the fools that dont know how to put a camera on a tripod or focus their shot.

But anyway, good luck with your search.

Kat

Well I would think that they would all be different. My class was every day for 3 hours and it was a two year program.

NYFA (new york film academy) has some pretty good summer film programs for High School students...here's a link to the summer camp website: NYFA

Unfortunately it's pretty pricy, but I've found some really good reviews on it...I've also found some not so nice ones too, but what most of them concluded is that you'll get what you put into it...

There's many different locations all over the world, including one at Universal Studios, Hollywood...

I really wish I could have gone, but unfortunately it didn't end up working out for me...good luck

Yuh, thanx. I've noticed some of these programs. The thing is, like u said, it's bit pricy, also it's far away from where I live. I was hoping if they have similar programs close to where I live...but anyway, thanx. I hope you go to one of them. Maybe I will c u there. haha
